Let's Help Save Some Lives: Blood Drive at Walkertown Branch Library
On Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. we'll roll up our sleeves and help save lives. We are proudly partnering with American Red Cross to hold a blood drive. The Red Cross has over -135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need.
Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. An estimated 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood or platelets, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. If you are healthy and eligible, please come out to donate. Appointments are in 15-minute increments. Walk-ins are also welcome.
For eligibility requirements, call Red Cross 1-800-733-2767.
