Being Royal with the Lam Museum of Anthropology

Tina H Smith, Museum Educator at the Lam Museum of Anthropology of Wake Forest University will be with us on Wednesday July 6 at 3 p.m. to do a special program called “Being Royal”. Participants will listen to stories from the books "Obatala’s Daughter and Shango’s Son" by Dr. Winmilawe. We will also learn about the culture and traditions of the Yoruba of West Africa by viewing objects from the museum’s collections. As part of the program children will create their own crown.
