A Free Art class - Charcoal Drawing: Still Life - is offered at the Walkertown Branch Library on Tuesday, May 22, 10 am, from 10 am to 12 noon. Rag Rug Weaving with John Wald: Free Demonstration May 16th at Walkertown

Join us in observing master craftsman, John Wald, as he uses his hand-made loom to weave rag rugs. Mr. Wald will be demonstrating the twining method to weave his rugs. This method involves twisting two separate pieces of material over and around a third piece that is suspended on a frame to hold it in place. Audience participation is welcomed. Wednesday, May 16, 10 - 11:30 am at the Walkertown Branch Library.

Free Tatting Class at Walkertown on Friday, May 4

One-on-One Tatting Class for Adults will be held on Friday, January 5, 10 am at the Walkertown Branch library. Tatting with a shuttle is the earliest method of creating tatted lace. Create a beautiful project with help of an expert, Susan Allison. Call the library at 336-703-2990 to register.

Digitization Station Assistance at Walkertown Monday, May 7

Convert your music tapes, old photographs and slides to digital format and create a lasting memory! The Walkertown Branch Library offers free, do-it-yourself digitization of photos, slides, and audiotapes to share and enjoy for years to come. One-on-one assistance with the equipment will be offered on Monday, May 7, 3-5 pm. Call 336-703-2990 to sign up.
