Dolen Perkins-Valdez Author Visit Rescheduled for Sun., Dec. 6, book and history talk still planned

On The Same Page's closing program, An Afternoon with the Author, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. All who registered for the program have been moved to the new event, and they will receive emails about the change. Dolen is eager to join our community for a discussion about her book and a book-signing event.

If you would like to attend An Afternoon with the Author, visit Eventbrite to register or join the waitlist.

In place of Dolen's visit, Forsyth County Central Library staff will host a combination book/history talk about Happy Land on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 2-3 p.m. in the Auditorium Come to discuss the book, learn more about the history of the Kingdom of the Happy Land that inspired the novel, and connect with other readers. It's free to attend and no registration is required.

Systemwide OTSP events and Joan Lunden author talk

There are several On The Same Page events scheduled across the Forsyth County Public Library system between now and Friday, Oct. 23. Review the schedule on our online calendar and make plans to attend one or more of these events.

And don't miss a chance to meet and hear from former Good Morning America co-host and author Joan Lunden on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 2-3 p.m. She'll be at the Forsyth County Central Library with co-author Tamela Rich to discuss Life Beyond the Script. Get more details and register at Eventbrite.
