Presenter Bio:
A native of eastern North Carolina, Professor Bill Partin earned his bachelor's degree in history from Guilford College and a master's and doctorate from The Ohio State University. His post-graduate study and research include time at the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Chicago. Over a 33-year career, he taught college history in Illinois, Missouri, Alabama, and North Carolina, earning multiple outstanding teacher awards. Now retired, he lives in Winston-Salem and continues to share his passion for history with community audiences.
