Due to safety concerns, riding through Festival of Lights in the back of a pick-up truck
or in/on a trailer that is connected to a vehicle is prohibited.

Festival of Lights Gift Village

Gift Shop

Enjoy some holiday shopping at our Gift Shop located at the Red Barn. The Gift Shop is located approximately halfway through the light show route. Here you will find holiday crafts, specialty foods and handmade gifts by local artisans. You can also pick up the annual Festival of Lights ornament for your collection! Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as well as cash. A pre-sale event will be held November 9th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Each night, the Gift Shop will be open for the duration of the show.

Lowes Foods has brought back the marshmallow cooking experience to Festival of Lights with S'moresville! This long-loved family tradition is located in the Gift Village, right outside the Gift Shop. Lowes will be selling the roasting sticks with either marshmallows or s'mores kits on-site. Visitors to S'moresville may not bring their own sticks or food items for roasting. S'moresville will close each evening at 10PM. S'moresville will be closed on Christmas day.


Inside the park, Tanglewood Stables offers horse-drawn carriage rides and tractor-pulled hayrides which provide a unique alternative viewing experience to Festival of Lights show. Carriage rides and hayrides are scheduled by appointment only and normally sell out prior to Opening Night. Call early for reservations: 336-766-9540.

Tanglewood Park is located just ten minutes west of Winston-Salem right off I-40 in Clemmons, NC

From Winston-Salem (East):

Take I-40 West to Exit 182 (Harper Rd/Tanglewood) and follow the Tanglewood Park signs OR take Exit 180A (801 South/Bermuda run) and follow the Tanglewood Park signs

From the West:

Take I-40 East to Exit 180 (NC-801-Tanglewood/Bermuda Run) and follow the Tanglewood Park signs

NOTE: The entrance to Tanglewood Park Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park is off of NC Highway 158 (Clemmons Road). Certain GPS services may incorrectly direct you access to the park off of Idols Road. If you arrive at the Idols Rd. entrance, you will be redirected towards the main entrance of the park.

- From the back gate Festival of Lights exit
- Head east on Idols Rd and travel approx 1 mile
- Turn left onto Middlebrook Dr and travel approx 1.5 miles
- Turn left onto Clemmons Road/Hwy 158 heading west and travel 1.7 miles
