Lieutenant Gregory Walters retires

On March 5, 1992, Lieutenant Gregory Walters was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. Lieutenant Walters earned several promotions throughout his career obtaining the rank of Lieutenant on April 4, 2020.

During his career, Lieutenant Walters earned the FCSO 25 Years’ Service Commendation Bar and several Letters of Commendation. Lieutenant Walters also earned both the NC Intermediate & NC Advanced Professional Law Enforcement Certificates.

Throughout the course of his career, Lieutenant Walters served in various capacities within the Enforcement Services Bureau. At the time of his retirement, he was the Lieutenant in Professional Standards Division.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Lieutenant Walters all the best in his future endeavors.
