Fit Family Adventures II

Posted on 7/10/2013 by Rebecca Woodcock

Fit Family Adventures II

Join your friends at the Fit Family Adventures II on Saturday, July 13, at Tanglewood Park, part of the 2013 Summer ESCAPE Challenge initiative with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

The event will be at Shelter 1 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm with games, giveaways, refreshments, activities, and a closing ceremony at the end!

Salem Gymnastics Sports Center will be on-site with a sampling from their popular Fit-nastics class. Fit-nastics is an introductory gymnastics class combined with overall fitness and nutritional education where kids will tumble, balance, jump, swing, and more as they explore the joys of movement with the staff from Salem Gymnastics.

The Amazing Summer E.S.C.A.P.E. Challenge is in its fourth week of challenges and Check Points to combat summer learning loss. We invite all Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools students and their families to join us for a very special Check Point Event "FIT FAMILY ADVENTURES II" at Tanglewood.

Bring the whole family, your neighbors, and friends to join in the fun learning and exploration at Tanglewood Park! Summer E.S.C.A.P.E. is a direct challenge to all of our students to keep learning, to be safe, to be active, to eat healthy, to perform acts of service . . . All while enjoying the summer with family and friends. It is a challenge for our students and our entire community to connect with schools to support, encourage, and provide learning opportunities and experiences all summer long.
