You’re Invited to Volunteer at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park!

You’re invited to join us at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park for evening volunteer workdays in 2025. We are happy to welcome community members into the garden to work with us on Thursdays from May through August.

This year, we will hold four evening workdays at the Arboretum. Volunteers will assist with a variety of garden activities, including weeding, planting, mulching, and more! No experience is necessary – we will have experienced gardeners present to help you learn. This is a great introduction to volunteering with Extension and for anyone interested in joining the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program.

Volunteers are invited to join us on Thursdays from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • May 15
  • June 19
  • July 17
  • August 21

Please plan to bring water and dress for gardening. Bring your favorite tools and gardening gloves or borrow a pair from us. Please see our Eventbrite page to register and for more details. Registration for each date will open at least 2 weeks prior to the event on our Eventbrite page.
