Envirothon
Envirothon is a free test-based competition that challenges students to expand their knowledge of aquatics, current environmental issues, forestry, soils, and wildlife.
Advisors work with students to form teams of five, and each school may have up to five teams. Advisors can be teachers, principals, parents/guardians, or guidance counselors.
Many teachers use Envirothon as an opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning and connect with natural resource professionals in our region.
Competition Topics
Students are tested on five subject areas:
- Aquatics
- Forestry
- Wildlife
- Current Environmental Issues
- Soils

Prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place teams. The top seven teams will advance to the state-level competition.
