NOTICE FOR ANY POSSIBLE RECOUNTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED

The Forsyth County Board of Elections hereby notices for the conduct of a recount if a recount is requested by an eligible candidate under N.C.G.S. 163-182.7(b) or (c). Only a contest eligible to be recounted under these provisions will be subject to the recount. The recount will begin on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day through Thursday, March 19, 2026 or until the possible recount is completed. The recount will be conducted in the Multi-Purpose Room on the fourth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, NC.

Members of the public may attend the meeting, but space may be limited. If no such recount is requested, it will be cancelled. Please contact the Board of Elections office at (336) 703-2800 for more information.
