Books for Dudes is welcoming new members!

Are you a dude? Great. You're halfway there. Do you like books? Perfect! You should totally join Books for Dudes, the Central Library's book club for men. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at noon. While the Central Library is being renovated, we will meet at the Work Family Resource Center, located just down the street at 530 N Spring St in Winston.

Unlike most book clubs, we don't all read and discuss the same book each month. Instead we eat a bunch of junk food and our members are free to tell the group about whatever they happen to be reading at the time. It can be new or old, popular or obscure, "chick lit" or manly enough to put hair on your chest. We won't judge. And although our membership is primarily of the male persuasion, we're happy to welcome dudettes as well.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 13. For more information, just call Michael at 703-3054.
