The Forsyth County Sheriff's Ofice Animal Service Division provides services to citizens of Forsyth County in reference to responsible pet ownership. The Animal Service Officers enforce NC State law and Forsyth County Ordinances related to animal welfare,cruelty,neglect,rabies enforcement, and licensing. We also partner with multiple animal welfare groups to make sure our furry friends are happy and safe.

We are located at 5570 Sturmer Park Cir. Winston-Salem, NC 27105 in the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, closed Sunday, Monday and holidays. Our administrative offices can be reached by calling 336-703-2480, option 2 during normal business hours. You can also contact us through email at animalservices@fcso.us. For animal related complaints or problems, our dispatch center is available 24/7 by calling 336-727-2112.

Currently our facility is not open to the public. Licensing or citation payments can be made by mail or may be placed in the secure drop box located on the front of the building.
