Book Lovers Club in February

The Clemmons Branch Library Book Lovers Club will meet on Monday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m. The group will discuss The Seakeeper's Daughter by Lisa Wingate. Also being discussed is The Girl Who Knew Too Much by Amanda Quick, which was originally scheduled for the January meeting. Join us in the library auditorium; new members are always welcome. Glory - A Feature Film Presentation

On Monday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m., celebrate Black History Month at the Clemmons Branch Library with a special screening of the 1989 movie Glory. Based on the true story of the all-black members of the 54th Regiment of the Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Starring Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, and Matthew Broderick. Rated R. 122 minutes. Free concessions.
