Friends of the Rural Hall Branch Library Fall Book Sale

Help raise funds for your local library! The Rural Hall Branch Friends of the Library will be holding their Fall 2017 Book Sale November 2-4, in the Auditorium. Book donations are welcome. In addition to the large variety of items for sale, there will be an opportunity to join and learn more about how the Friends support the Library year round.


S.T.E.M. Session

Join us each month for a S.T. E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program for Elementary School Children (K-5th grade). During the next S.T.E.M. Session, children are welcome to play with Ozobots on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 4-5 pm.


Spooktacular Halloween Blood Drive at Lewisville Branch Oct. 31st 11 am to 3:30 pm

We want to suck your blood! Or at least, the American Red Cross does. Ghouls, goblins, and other monsters with human blood are invited to donate blood to the American Red Cross at the Lewisville Branch Library on Tuesday, October 31st from 11 am - 3:30 pm. Save a human this Halloween and donate. Appointments are preferred. Please call us at 336-703-2940 to make an appointment. Appointments are in 15-minute increments. Walk-ins also welcome.


Special Spooky Storytime

Teen Cosplay Contest

Teens (6th-12 grade) are welcome to attend the 3rd Annual Teen Cosplay Contest on Friday, October 27th at 4 pm in the Rural Hall Branch Library Auditorium. Prizes will be awarded for best costume! Teens must wear costumes appropriate for a traditional public school setting. Call Rural Hall Branch Library to register at 336-703-2970.
