A free two-part 90 minute American Sign Language workshop for adults will be held at Walkertown Branch Library on Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. This workshop, presented by Daphne and Larry Patty, will enable participants to communicate with and assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
An exhibit of handmade quilts by quilting teacher Toni Morgan will be on display through the end of December at Walkertown Branch Library. Morgan is the owner of Toni’s Total Quilting and teaches quilting at Enon Baptist Church in East Bend, N.C.
All branches will be closed Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 24-26, for Christmas.
