General Information
The Water/Wastewater
Section of the Division of Environmental Health is comprised of environmental health
specialists who are dedicated to protecting the environment and promoting public
health. This is accomplished through a variety of responsibilities, some of which
include:
- responding to complaints
- issuing/denying septic tank system permits
- inspecting septic tank systems and water supply wells
- water sampling
- public swimming pool inspections
- providing education and consultation to the public
