Greetings Forsyth County,
At the Forsyth County Public Library, our mission is to equip, empower and connect the community through library services.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we put this mission into action by making adjustments to ensure that a vast array of our materials, services and programs remained accessible to you and your family. Our goal, then and now, was to make sure that Forsyth County residents continued to be equipped, empowered and connected in a way that would allow our community as a whole to thrive even as we were thrust into unfortunate circumstances beyond our control.
If early literacy or school readiness support is what your family has needed, we hope you found – and will continue to find - our virtual and in-person story-times; online databases, such as Tutor.com; and other educational support tools and activities, such as visits from our bookmobile and Outreach staff, to be timely, supportive and robust. If you’re an entrepreneur and are in need of advice or guidance to help propel your plans or business into the next phase, then we’re confident that our Winning Wednesday programs or online resources, such as Reference USA or Udemy, will provide both inspiration and insights to help you and/or your business "level up".
Whatever your aspirations – then, now or in the future – you have our resources and the support of our talented team behind you.
Wishing you and our entire community much success,
