Remote access to Foundation Directory Essential has changed to a 24-hour day pass

Foundation Directory Essential, available through a partnership with Forsyth County Public Library and Candid, is a research tool that you can use to identify potential funding to support your nonprofit organization’s mission and programs. Remote access to Foundation Directory Essential is now available with a 24-hour day pass and your library card number.

Once you click here to access Foundation Directory Essential, you will be asked to create an account and sign up for a day pass. The day pass allows you to use Foundation Directory Essential from home in a 24-hour window. You will be able to activate a new pass after 30 days.

In addition to remote access to the Essential version, you also still have full access to Foundation Directory Professional version by visiting Central Library in-person during library hours.

Information Services Librarians on the 3rd floor of Central Library are available to assist you with your funding research and can email search results including past grants and recipient information not available in Foundation Directory Essential.
