Dia de los Muertos: Cultural Celebration in Virtual Mode!
Help celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Join us on the public library's Zoom link on Saturday, Oct. 31, 11 a.m. for a fun and informative celebration of Dia de los Muertos. Meet the library's diverse staff, ask questions and learn interesting facts. Learn how to make 2 folk crafts that Mexican artisans traditionally make for Dia de los Muertos. We'll sing along with storyteller/musician Jon Sundell. You shouldn't miss the amusing story of Tia Miseria. Pick up a Dia de los Muertos craft kit, while supplies last, at Forsyth County Public Library branches beginning October 19. Saturday, Oct. 31, 1 p.m., Central Library’s front lawn Help celebrate Dia De Los Muertos! Register for a craft session on October 31 at the Central Library. One family per table. Register with Hispanic Outreach and email esparza2@forsyth.cc. Dress comfortably for the outdoors and for a possible colorful sugary mess. You must wear a mask 😷.
