Unearth a Story during Forsyth County Public Library's Summer Reading Program

Embark on a journey of curiosity, discovery, and learning for everyone this summer from the young to the young at heart with the 2026 Forsyth County Public Library Summer Reading Program ... Unearth a Story!

Whether you enjoy digging into a good book, uncovering hidden meanings, or exploring the past, Unearth a Story underscores the joy of discovery that reading brings. Summer Reading calendars, bookmarks, and Digby cards will be available at all branches on Friday, June 5.

The Summer Reading program kicks off at 6 p.m. with activities inside and outside the Forsyth County Central Library. Pick up a passport and travel through the library to make some art, learn what you can make in the Makerspace, and more. Five stamps on your passport will earn you a prize!
