Public Health is out of cash cards for vaccinations, more expected soon

The Forsyth County Department of Public Health has run out of cash cards for first dose vaccinations and for non-commercial drivers who transport someone for their first dose. More cash cards are expected in later this week and an announcement will be made when they arrive.

COVID-19 vaccination to be offered at Bowman Gray Stadium and other community venues

The Forsyth County Department of Public Health will offer COVID vaccinations before next Saturday’s race at Bowman Gray Stadium with a free admission ticket for that night’s race for the first 100 adults 18 and over that receive their first dose. Public Health will also be vaccinating at Crystal Towers, El Buen Samaritano and the health department.

Due to the substantial transmission of COVID-19 locally, Forsyth County Department of Public Health advises everyone to wear masks when in indoor public settings.

Masks required at all county facilities beginning August 2

Forsyth County Government will begin requiring visitors and employees to wear masks at all of its indoor facilities beginning on Monday, August 2. Masks will be provided to visitors who do not have one.
