November Reading Challenge: Discover a New Hobby

Fall is a great time to learn something new, start a hobby, a DIY project, or work on a craft. What better way to get started than to read a book on the subject? So, this month’s challenge is to read a nonfiction book on a subject you’ve been wanting to try, learn about, or just explore. Maybe you’ve been wanting to travel more? Read a travelogue. Want to improve your cooking? Browse through a great cookbook. Find out more about your favorite celebrity? Read a biography. The possibilities are endless, and so are the books. You can check out the Library’s online catalog or our available eBooks to find a book on the topic you choose, or just ask one of our great librarians for help.

I hope you accept the Forsyth County Public Library’s November Reading Challenge and encourage your family and friends to try it too. Please let me know how it goes and if you get a chance, send me an email (fcpl.eg.requests@gmail.com) with the title of the book you read this month.

Happy Reading!
