Potential Multi-Use Agricultural Event Center

*image above is a conceptual site plan, not an approved or finalized design

The scope of this project is design and construction of a Multi-Use Agricultural Event Center within a County park. The project will provide flexible space for hosting functions and events and is anticipated to include a pre-engineered building, areas for outdoor recreation, parking, road improvements, related site development, and landscaping.

The Multi-Use Agricultural Event Center project is in the site selection phase. Forsyth County is evaluating park land that has potential to accommodate the proposed facility and assessing compatible locations.

Additionally, N.C. Cooperative Extension, the outreach arm of N.C. State's College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and North Carolina A&T's School of Agriculture, will co-locate on the site. Cooperative Extension is a Forsyth County Government department with the following emphasis: Sustaining agriculture and forestry, protecting the environment, and youth and family development programs and initiatives.
