Effective immediately our shelter hours will be temporarily reduced to focus on staff training and animal care. These hour changes will not cause any hinderance to services to our citizens. Monday-Wednesday our phone lines will still be monitored. Anyone seeking assistance from shelter staff can reach us at 336-703-2480 to make an appointment. Outside of normal business hours residents can seek assistance from Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for aggressive animals at 336-727-2112.
Animal Services Advisory Board
Advisory Board meetings are held the third Thursday of every other month at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Meetings begin at 6 pm and are open to the public. If you intend to comment, you will need to sign in and limit comments to three minutes.
