Effective immediately our shelter hours will be temporarily reduced to focus on staff training and animal care. These hour changes will not cause any hinderance to services to our citizens. Monday-Wednesday our phone lines will still be monitored. Anyone seeking assistance from shelter staff can reach us at 336-703-2480 to make an appointment. Outside of normal business hours residents can seek assistance from Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for aggressive animals at 336-727-2112.

Forsyth County Animal Shelter is proud to partner with other "sister shelters" and 501(c)3 rescue organizations. By working together, we can save lives and give animals a second chance to find safe, loving forever homes. We always welcome new rescue partners to join our team!
