Effective immediately our shelter hours will be temporarily reduced to focus on staff training and animal care. These hour changes will not cause any hinderance to services to our citizens. Monday-Wednesday our phone lines will still be monitored. Anyone seeking assistance from shelter staff can reach us at 336-703-2480 to make an appointment. Outside of normal business hours residents can seek assistance from Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for aggressive animals at 336-727-2112.

Rehoming Your Pet

Forsyth County Animal Shelter does not rehome public pets. Our good friends at Forsyth Humane Society offer this service. Please reach out to them for resources to rehome independently and through their adoption program.
