EnviroFlash Challenge

The air quality forecast team at the Forsyth County Environmental Affairs Department is participating once again in the EnviroFlash Challenge. State and local air agencies across the country are competing to get the most email subscribers for the Air Quality Forecast, during the month of May. Help your local area win by signing up today. And, tell all your friends and family about it too!

EnviroFlash is the Environmental Protection Agency's program to distribute the Air Quality Index forecast. The forecast is vital in communicating air pollution levels to the community. Air quality affects how we live and breathe and can change daily. Knowing the air quality forecast is your first step in protecting your health, and the health of your family or employees.

Making simple behavior changes on days when an Air Quality Action Day is forecast (AQI Code Orange and higher), is vital to keeping our air clean. Reduce your driving, combine errands, carpool, take your lunch to work, mow the grass and refill your fuel take after 7:00 PM.
