Register for FREE Computer Classes @ the Library

WinstonNet is offering free computer classes at the Carver School Road Branch Library through its “Connect Your Community” program for adults 18 and over.

Call 336-703-4138 for more information or to register for a class. Individuals must complete a 24-hour course to become eligible for help in obtaining a highly functional, refurbished computer with software and warranty (subsidized cost starts at $25 complete).

WinstonNet Connect Your Community is funded by the US Department of Commerce’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program. It is a nonprofit, grant-funded program with a goal of connecting over 1.700 new Forsyth County households to the Internet by May 2012.
