Taming the College Essay Dragon @ Central Library

Most students feel overwhelmed when even thinking about writing the college essay. Join Irene Ingersoll, founder of Ingersoll College Consulting, as she helps you understand your audience, and how to choose a topic that will help you stand apart from your peers. Learn what college admissions is looking for as they read through thousands of applicants's essays. Many bright, qualified high school students will be applying to the same college as you, so learn to write a strong essay. Irene will also review the common application, as well as provide overall tips for essay writing and admissions expectations.

This program is part of our Preparing for College Series at Central Library. Topics in the series include SAT/ACT Prep, Financial Aid Information, Study Skills, Admissions process, and College Scholarships & Grants.
