Homeschool Programming at Lewisville Library

Lewisville Library invites you to check out these upcoming homeschool-friendly programs:

Books Alive!
Saturday, January 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Books come alive at the Lewisville Library the last Saturday of every month. Every session starts at 10:30 a.m. with a two minute “actor’s warm-up”, followed by reading the selected book of the month, and then kids get on their feet and learn by doing. K - 3rd graders will enjoy this interactive program.

Genealogy Workshop
Tuesday, March 12 at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Dig into your family's history with Ancestry.com, one of the library's many databases. Sponsored by Friends of the Lewisville Library. Ages 6-11 at 3:30, ages 12-18 at 4:30.

Poetry Workshop
Tuesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Get in touch with your creativity in our Poetry Workshop, sponsored by Friends of the Lewisville Library. We'll begin with a session on the different forms and styles of poetry, followed by time to brainstorm and write some poetry of your own. Attendees are invited (but not required!) to share what they've written at the end of the workshop. Ages 6-11 at 3:30, ages 12-18 at 4:30.

Beady Buddies
Thursday, May 2 at 4:00 p.m.
Come learn this fun bead craft from Girl Scout Troop 40232. Ages 5-11.

Saving Money For Kids
Thursday, May 16 at 4:00 p.m.
Learn the basics of saving money with this program from Wells Fargo. Ages 8-12.
