Tanglewood Park’s Back Gate Will be Open for Six Consecutive Weekends

Tanglewood Park will be opening the back gate entrance for the next six weekends due to the N.C. Department of Transportation completing preservation work on the bridges that carry I-40 West and East over the Yadkin River at the Forsyth-Davie County line. The preservation work will take place starting at 8:00pm Friday through 6:00am Monday for six consecutive weekends.

Tanglewood Park would like its patrons to have an enjoyable experience and the back gate will be open as a convenience. The front gate will still be open as well for traffic entering the park from Clemmons Road. All gate entry fees will be required for the front and back gate.

To get to the back gate from I-40, take the Lewisville-Clemmons Road exit. If you are travelling West (from Winston-Salem), you will take a left at the top of the ramp. If you are traveling East (from Davie County), you will take a right at the top of the ramp. Follow Lewisville-Clemmons Road through town. Continue until you reach a stop sign that intersects with Idols Road. At that stop sign, turn right. Follow Idols Road for approximately one mile. You will see the back entrance to Tanglewood Park on your right.
