Teen Documentary Film Camp students show their work

Ten teens spent a week at Central Library they will never forget, learning to be documentary filmmakers. The teens were taught the basics of filmmaking by students currently enrolled in the Documentary Film Program at Wake Forest University.

Lessons in lighting, sound, shooting, editing and storytelling were just a few of the topics touched upon during the week. Students were then given a chance to apply what they had learned as they were paired up with a felllow teen and given the assignment of producing a short documentary on the topic of their choice. Here are the documentary films from this year's camp.
