4K for 4-H Raises $570 for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission

Forsyth County 4-H, participated in the inaugural 4K for 4-H, held at NC State University. Through the event, the youth collected pledges to raise money for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.

A big part of 4-H, is performing community service. North Carolina 4-H voted to host a 4K for 4-H as part of the NC 4-H Congress event held annually at NC State University. Each county 4-H program was asked to select an agency to raise funds for and the Forsyth County 4-H Council voted on the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission. The youth raised $570 for the mission.
