Teen Maker Workshop

The Forsyth County Public Library in collaborative partnership with the Center for Design Innovation is pleased to offer two, one-day Teen Maker workshops for high school and middle school students.

These workshops will blend the art of storytelling with the creative potential of 3D technology and additional Maker activities to tell stories through masks. Local presenters will share their expertise with students who will then create a 3D object for a mask. Finished masks will then go on display at all nine library locations.

The workshop for high school students will take place on Saturday, March 12th from 10 am to 4 pm. The middle school workshop will take place on Saturday, April 9th from 10 am to 4 pm.

Space is limited to 20-25 students for each workshop. A random drawing will be held to determine workshop participants.

Applications for the high school Teen Maker Workshop must be received by Monday. March 7th and Monday, March 28th for the middle school Teen Maker Workshop.
