The Cookbook Club Celebrates their 1-Year Anniversary!

For a whole year now, the Cookbook Club at the Clemmons Branch Library has been making and sharing delicious food with each other. We celebrated our anniversary by having a special vegetarian-themed feast! Some of the standout dishes were Greek pies made by Deb, ratatouille by Gregg, tomato-zucchini tart by Suzanne, and delicious lentil salad by Delo.

Are you interested in joining the Cookbook Club? We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 at the Clemmons Branch. Usually we ask our members to swing by the library sometime in the month before the meeting to choose a recipe out of one of our pre-selected cookbooks. But we're doing things a little differently for our meeting on Wednesday, July 20. This time we want you to pick a recipe out of your favorite cooking magazine. Just be sure to bring the recipe by the library at least a week prior to the meeting so that we can photocopy it and make a place card for our banquet table. Everyone must bring a prepared dish in order to attend!
