Teen Central's Teen Read Week Film Fest

Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). It began in 1998 and is held annually in October the same week as Columbus Day. Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users.

If I Stay (2014)

Sunday October 8 | 2 - 4 pm

A comatose teen has an out-of-body experience following a car accident that kills her entire family, and must decide whether to fight for her life. Over the course of 24 hours, she will be faced with a crucial choice that will determine her destiny.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Thursday October 12 | 3:30 - 5:30 pm

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
