S. T. E. M. Session
Children (K-5th grade) and their caregivers are welcome to attend a S. T. E. M. Session in the Rural Hall Branch Library Auditorium. S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Sessions are monthly programs that allow children to learn, build, create, and experiment with new objects and ideas.
During this Special S.T.E.M. Session, students (3rd-8th) can attend a Solar Car Workshop led by a special guest from the Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection. During the workshop, students can learn about the challenges that current emissions pose to air quality and health, what they can do about it and how to make the ultimate emissions-free car by building a miniature solar-powered vehicle. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 from 4-5 p.m.. Please call Rural Hall Branch Library at 336-703-2970 for more information.
