NaNoWriMo is here!

Use your November to write a novel during National Novel Writing Month. Join the Kernersville Writers Group on Friday, November 17 at 4 p.m. for a special guest speaker. Local author Agnes Alexander is a NaNoWriMo veteran who will share her tips and tricks on starting - and finishing - that elusive novel. For more information and to sign up to participate, visit nanowrimo.org. This event is open to all writers (including those who don't sign up for NaNoWriMo).

Did you know that Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and Cinder by Marissa Meyer came from NaNoWriMo? Authors have created some truly amazing books during this worldwide initiative. For a list of some that got published, check out this blog post on Goodreads. Put your fingers to the keyboard this month, and maybe your book will end up on the list!
