Regular Children and Teen Programs Will Resume in June

Summer Reading is Coming Soon
In May, we take a break from regular programming for children and teens at the Lewisville Branch to prepare for Summer Reading. Instead, will be having a few special activities throughout the month. Our regular programs for children and teens will resume when Summer Reading kicks off in June. Don't forget to attend the Summer Reading Kick Off Party at Central Library on Friday, June 8 at 6:30 PM.

Special May Activities:

Star Wars Day Craft
Friday, May 4
From 3:30-4:30 PM
Celebrate Star Wars Day by making a Darth Vader bookmark at the Lewisville Branch Library!

Free Comic Book Day
Saturday, May 5
From 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Drop by the Lewisville Branch Library to pick up your free comic book! We will have comic books available for children, teens, and adults (while supplies last).

Flower Search & Find
May 7-12
Search the Children's Area for the Hidden Images. Find them all and get a prize!

Homeschool Meet & Greet
Tuesday, May 15
From 4:30- 5:30 PM
Are you thinking about starting to homeschool? Do you want to meet other local families that homeschool? Come share your experiences in homeschooling and learn about the resources that the public library provides. We will highlight some of our online resources- Biography in Context, Live Homework Help, and the Tumblebook Library.
