Summer Reading Programs for Teens and Tweens at the Clemmons Branch Library

Summer Reading Programs:

Japanese Music and Origami - Wednesday, June 20 at 4:00PM

Learn about music, Karaoke, famous Japanese singers, and hear some Japanese songs. We will also be making origami with special guest Nana Watanobe, Japanese Outreach Initiative Coordinator, in partnership with the Museum of Anthropology.

Music Around the World - Wednesday, July 11 at 4:00PM Registration is required!

Learn about world music by listening to, seeing, and playing instruments from around the world. You'll also have an opportunity to make your own instrument. Registration is required! Please contact the Clemmons Branch Library to register.

LB the Poet - Thursday, July 19 at 4:00PM

L.B. The Poet is well known for his verse and style of words and a delivery that will capture your heart and mind. This summer, join the 2018 Forsyth County Library system-wide teen performer, L.B., for a poetry workshop designed for teens that introduces the mechanics of writing, rhyming and presenting. Large groups please register.

Lewisville/Clemmons Teen Lock-In - Friday, July 27 from 5:30-8:30 Registration is required!

Pizza, board games, karaoke and a glow stick dance party at the Lewisville Branch Library! Please call 336-703-2940 or 336-703-2920 for more information or to register. Registration and parental-permission slip required to participate. Parental-permission slips are due by Thursday, July 26 at 6 pm at either the Lewisville Branch Library or the Clemmons Branch Library.

All programs are for teens and tweens in rising 6th-12th grade!
