Outer Space Science

Intended for ages 5-10, but all are welcome.

Join us for fun and messy afternoon and learn about the Moon. We’ll be using Oreos to recreate all eight phases of the Moon in a delicious format. Then experiment with how impact craters are created. We’ll have several tubs of “Moon dirt” available with a range of objects to drop into them to make all sizes and depths of craters.
Large groups, please call the Clemmons Branch Library at 336-703-2920 at least 24 hours in advance of the program to ensure space and supplies.
