LHS: After Appomattox: North Carolina Civil War Monuments, 1865-1965

The Lewisville Historical Society invites you to their regular Membership Meeting to attend a program presented by Douglas J. Butler, author of the book, “North Carolina Civil War Monuments: An Illustrated History.” He will discuss the 109 Civil War monuments erected from 1865-1965, including eight Union monuments and an African American monument. Dr. Butler will have copies of his book available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public. Call 336-766-5842 for more information.
