Please feel free to visit the Paddison Memorial Branch Library on Friday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. for their session of "The Ruler's Crown."

The Ruler's Crown
Friday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m.
Paddison Memorial Branch Library
Ages 5 and up

A king or queen always needs a crown. Using objects from the museum's collection, children will learn about the culture and beautiful beaded crowns of the Yoruba people in West Africa. With a variety of materials, children will create and decorate their own crowns.

This program is in honor of our On the Same Page book for 2019, "Speak No Evil" by Uzodinma Iweala.
