Beginning November 1, 2019, Macmillan Publishers will allow libraries to purchase only one copy of each new eBook title for the first eight weeks after a book’s release. Here’s the truth: Limiting access to new titles for libraries means limiting access for readers like you.

By signing the petition, you can play a significant role in overturning this embargo. This will help:

• Libraries to fulfill their mission to ensure all people have access to all materials
• Patrons with visual and other disabilities who rely on eBook formats
