Monday, March 2 from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Southside Branch Library
Theodor Seuss "Ted" Geisel, known to the world as Dr. Seuss, was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Since he was such a strong lifelong advocate for literacy, his birthday has been adopted as National Read Across America Day by the National Education Association. Come join us as we celebrate the work of the author/illustrator of some of the most beloved picture books of all time, like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. There will be a storytime and activities for children.
