Children's Creek Week at the Southside Branch

Tuesday March 24 at 11 a.m.
"Creek Week Storytime"

Join us for stories about rain, rivers, and ponds. Ages 4 and under.

Wednesday, March 25 at 11 a.m.
"DIY: Mini Windmills"

Explore the connections between renewable energy, pollution, climate change, and our local ecosystem with Mr. Thomas Hillis. Then build your own miniature solar-powered windmill! This program is presented in part by the Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection. No registration is required. This program is great for elementary- and middle school-aged students.

Thursday, March 26 at 11 a.m.
"Bee Buzziness"

Come for a fun-filled hour learning about bees and other pollinators through stories, activities, and crafts. Children will construct a water source for local bees, create pollinator antennae, and listen to stories about the critical role pollinators play in our ecosystem. This program is hosted by the Winston-Salem Bee City USA Affiliate. Ages 3-6.
