Welcome Back to the Library. We're So Glad You're Here
All of our Libraries are open, and we're looking forward to seeing you again. We're following local health guidance. We're only allowing 10-20 percent capacity and are doing deep cleaning at each location. To understand how your visit to the Library will be different, click through to watch our new video.
We can only allow a limited number of people in any branch at a time, so we ask that you don't plan an extended visit just yet. We're asking that you wear a face mask. If you don't have one, we'll be happy to provide you with one.
Deeper cleaning protocols will require Branches to be closed for an hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call your preferred Branch to find out which hour of the day they'll be closed.
Please observe social distancing guidelines and follow directional signs. If you have any questions about checkout periods, the To-Go Library or how to access digital resources, please ask one of our helpful librarians.
Five branches and the bookmobile, are offering 30-minute computer appointments. Branches offering limited computer use include:
- Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center
- Bookmobile travels to various shopping centers and locations
Library customers will be able to access Wi-Fi at all locations.
We haven't yet determined a date to reopen at full capacity. Library management is working with Forsyth County to evaluate such practices as limited hours and low or no-contact programming. Meeting rooms will not be available at this time.
