Major Robert E. Slater Retires

Major Robert E. Slater began his Law Enforcement career in 1991 as a Detention Officer I. Major Slater earned several promotions throughout his career with his latest promotion to Detention Center Administrator in 2013 which was reclassified to Detention Major in 2019.

During his career, Major Slater earned his 25 Years Service Commendation Bar, several Letters of Commendation, and two (2) Certifications.

Throughout his career, Major Slater served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Major Slater all the best in his future endeavors.
