NOTICE OF THE FORSYTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS’ MEETINGS AND BRIEFINGS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners (Board) will conduct the following Meetings and Briefing Sessions remotely.

On Thursday, December 3, 2020, the Board will hold a Meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Board will hold a Briefing Session following its Meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C.

There will be no meeting place where members of the public can be physically present. The Meeting will be broadcast live at 2:00 p.m. on local cable channel WSTV 13-The Government Channel, winston-salem and vimeo.com

The Meeting will include a public session during which members of the public may speak. If you wish to speak, please call 336-422-1200 at 1:45 p.m. on the day of the meeting. You will be placed on hold, and you will be recognized to speak during the public session in the order your call was received.

All persons interested in the proposed public hearings on the Petition to Close Bridal Wood Drive, F-1597, and Local Historic Landmark Designation of the Bowman and Elizabeth Gray House on the December 3, 2020, agenda are invited by the Board of Commissioners to present their views by submitting a written comment to sloopam@forsyth.cc by Friday, December 4, 2020.

2. On Monday, December 7, 2020, the Board will hold a Special Meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C. to discuss the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget.

There will be no meeting place where members of the public can be physically present. The Meeting will be broadcast live at 10:00 a.m. on local cable channel WSTV 13-The Government Channel, winston-salem and vimeo.com

3. On Monday, December 7, 2020, the Board will hold its Organizational Meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C.

There will be no meeting place where members of the public can be physically present. The Meeting will be broadcast live at 2:00 p.m. on local cable channel WSTV 13-The Government Channel, winston-salem and vimeo.com

5. On Thursday, December 17, 2020, the Board will hold a Meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor of the Forsyth County Government Center, 201 North Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem, N.C.

A copy of this notice shall be posted on the bulletin boards located outside the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the fifth floor and also in the lobby on the first floor of the Forsyth County Government Center. A copy of the notice shall be sent to all who receive notification of any changes in the Commissioners’ regular meeting schedule.
